I got into sales to earn money. I stayed because I love helping people.
Like a lot of people, I started in sales for the money. What I didn’t expect was how much I’d enjoy the helping: understanding what someone really needs and guiding them to a good decision.
What I didn’t enjoy was how sales was often done. The pressure. The mindset of convincing people to buy. Leading with fear. Deep discounts to win a deal before the quarter closed, only to watch the price go back up and realize we’d trained our customers to wait.
Sales doesn’t have to be like that. When it’s done right, it brings real value to people. It solves problems, builds trust and, sometimes, changes lives, on both sides of the conversation. That’s why I see selling as an essential skill, and why, twenty-plus years later, I honestly don’t feel like I’ve sold a day in my career.
My life has been shaped by people who believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. I wouldn’t be where I am without them. It’s why I’m a relentless believer in people and their potential, no matter where they’re starting from.
So I’m here to empower you to sell that way, with the knowledge, confidence and system to do it on your own.
