Signature keynote

What If You Are the Competitive Advantage?

Your human connection in a digital world

Your clients can research anything. They compare, calculate and ask AI before they ever speak to you. So why do they still choose a person? This keynote helps audiences rediscover the pieces that make them the one people trust, and every attendee leaves holding a reminder of it.

Everyone leaves holding a piece of it.

Near the end of the keynote, the screen goes dark and the room becomes the experience. Every attendee finds a puzzle piece waiting for them, and a reason to think differently about what makes them worth choosing.

The keynote in five acts

In a world where information is everywhere, knowing more is no longer what sets people apart. Through story, humour and one unforgettable hands-on moment, Ashley shows audiences that the thing that makes them worth choosing was never another certification. It’s the combination of experiences, strengths and quirks that only they have.

  1. Act 1

    It’s a jungle out there

Buyers arrive researched, informed and skeptical. Information isn’t enough anymore. You’re not just an advisor. You’re a trusted guide.

  2. Act 2

    A box of puzzle pieces

Training, certifications, careers, family, experiences. Every piece you’ve collected along the way.

  3. Act 3

    The picture on your box

Why so many of us force great pieces into someone else’s picture of success.

  4. Act 4

    Same shape, same colour

My own unlikely pieces, and what happens when everyone throws the customer the same life preserver.

  5. Act 5

    The piece in your hand

A hands-on moment that turns the whole room into the experience.

Your audience will leave with

  • Why information alone no longer earns trust, and what does.
  • How to see the “picture on your box”, your own definition of success.
  • How to stand out when every competitor sounds the same.
  • The confidence to use the strengths you’ve been hiding or overlooking.

Ideal for

  • Sales kickoffs and conferences
  • Advisor and industry associations
  • Leadership and team events
  • Entrepreneur and business networks

Your 90-Day Sales & Business Plan

A hands-on sales productivity workshop. Get clear. Get focused. Take action.

A working session, not a lecture. Participants leave with a clear view of what’s changing in their market and what it means for their success, a sharper way to explain their value, one to three priorities for the next 90 days, and a realistic week that actually makes room for them.

  1. 01
    Get clear

What’s changing in your industry, your market, your business and with your clients, and how you’ll stand out. Everyone writes their own Value Articulation Statement.

  2. 02
    Get focused

Define success for the next 12 months, find the 5% of activities that drive 95% of results, and free up time by deciding what to automate, do, hand off or drop. Then choose one to three priorities for the next 90 days.

  3. 03
    Take action

Does your calendar agree? Build an ideal, realistic week that protects your priorities, and commit to what you’ll start doing and stop doing.

Participants leave with

  • A clear picture of what’s changing in their market, and how it affects their success
  • A Value Articulation Statement that sets them apart
  • One to three measurable priorities for the next 90 days
  • A realistic weekly plan with protected time for what matters most
  • Clear start and stop commitments, and a plan to stay accountable

About Ashley

From failing high school to corporate sales, leadership, HR, entrepreneurship and learning to fly, Ashley’s path has taken some unexpected turns. As a teenager, he ended up on the wrong side of the law, and it was people who believed in him that helped him turn his life around. His own puzzle is proof that the unlikely pieces are often the ones that matter most.

Ashley got into sales to earn money and stayed for the part that mattered most: helping people make good decisions. What never sat right was how sales was often done, with pressure, convincing and leading with fear. That’s the heart of every talk Ashley gives: it’s time for a more human approach to sales, because in a world of AI and technology, being human is becoming our competitive advantage.

Today Ashley combines 20+ years in professional sales, leadership, training and business strategy with a foundation in coaching psychology, helping people sell in a way that feels authentic, human and repeatable.
